The Story of Me

My name is Jamyang Yoesel. A simple teenager boy who is 14 years old and likes to read books, play football and mobile games when getting free time. My mother's name is Sonam Pelmo. She is a housewife and she is 38 years old. My father's name is Tenzang. He works under a mining company and he is 41 years old. I have one sister. Her name is Tshering Yoezer Wangmo. She is running 10 years old and she is studying in Samtse Lower Secondary School in class IV.

The people who shaped my life are parents, friends and teacher. My parents taught me how to respect and obey others. My teachers till now were very good to me and my classmates and I am happy that I got very nice teachers this year too. My teachers also teach me what is wrong and what is right, they also clear my doubts whenever I ask them. My friends on the other hand taught me how to properly play sports and they also help me when I am in trouble. I respect and listen to my parent, teachers and friends because they helped me stand on my own feet without anyone's need.

My strength is that I can score at least the pass mark in every test the school or the teacher does. My friends and parents also motivates me to study and they make me happy most of the time which makes my face most of the time smiling. My different sized ears makes me different from all the normal people living around me. My habits like writing home works right after reaching home and studying, doing chores after revising and helping my sister with studies makes me unique from other people. When I grow up I want to be a doctor so that I can look after sick people and help my country. I want to have a relaxing and simple life when I grow up if possible. For that, I am focusing on studies so that I can succeed and have a bright future!

This is me during variety show in class II in Taju Primary School in Paro. Me and my classmates prepared for the variety show and most of the teachers and parents liked our show. It was a memorial day that I will never forget. When I was doing the variety show, it was a day filled with laughter and joy. Our teachers and parents were all laughing because our show was in a funny way that could make everyone laugh. When our show finished, all the teachers including principal was happy for our show. In the end of the program, our class got to present again because principal saw how much effort we put in the show and he was also interested in our show. It was the best day I could ever have.

It was during visiting the great Paro Taktsang. The place which is called the tiger's nest because our Guru Rinpoche meditated in the cave sitting in the tiger's back, which is the major event that introduces Buddhism into Bhutan. When I reached near the Paro Taktsang(Tiger's nest), I was very afraid of heights and at first I couldn't move but I remembered that I would never get this kind of opportunity so I visited and knew the story. This also was a memorial day because I got to visit a monastery blessed by our Guru Padma Sambhava. Also when heading back to home, we met tourists and they were all complimenting how peaceful and clean our country Bhutan is. That made my day feel so good!
